Skip Hire FAQs
How long can I keep the skip?
Standard hire is 14 days. Need it longer? Extended hire is available at £10 per day. Just call us before your hire period ends.
Can you deliver same-day?
Yes! Call us before 12pm and we can often deliver the same day across North West England, subject to skip availability and location.
What if I'm not ready for collection after 14 days?
No problem. Just call us to extend your hire period. Extended hire is charged at £10 per day.
Can I mix different types of waste?
Yes, mixed waste is fine for most skips. We sort and recycle at our facility. However, plasterboard must be kept separate from other waste due to recycling regulations.
What's the best skip size for a house clearance?
For a full 3-bedroom house clearance, we recommend an 8-yard builders skip. For smaller clearouts, a 4-5 yard midi skip is usually sufficient. Call us for personalized advice.
Do you recycle skip waste?
Yes! We recycle or recover 95% of all skip waste. Materials are sorted at our licensed facility - wood, metal, concrete, and more are recycled rather than sent to landfill.
